A Mother's Legacy Prayers

Everlasting God, I renounce all covenants and vows with the enemy in Jesus’ Name. King Jesus, remember the covenant of my youth and renew your everlasting covenant with me. I cover with the Blood of Jesus, my mind, heart, body, my husband, children and (future) grandchildren, our finances, estate, my ministry, and my voice, dedicating it all to the Kingdom of God. I call forth redemption in my bloodline and timeline.

Almighty God, I dedicate my life, my husband and my legacy to You. King Jesus, lead me into being the helpmate my husband needs. Holy Spirit, heal what needs healing in my heart, prune what needs pruning, reveal what I need to understand to protect my family. Lord, be with us in every step of our marriage. Bless us with heavenly provision. Show me my husband’s heart, dreams and passions. Instruct me in how to affirm his godly identity and fatherhood, and how to remove stumbling blocks in our way.

The Lord God who created me, I dedicate my children to You. Holy Spirit, bless my womb with children to dedicate to God. Cover me with your Blood, bless my pregnancies and shelter us during labor. Holy Spirit, hover over all my children and birth the promises of their lives. If my children fall into rebellion, I trust you to bring them back to You. Angels assigned to my children, encamp around them all the days of their lives. Chase away the enemy, minister to them when they need help, advice them and keep them away from harm.

Lord God my Peace, teach me your ways so I may always walk in your truth. Holy Spirit, give me the wisdom, understanding, submission, hope, faith, strength, and fervor to be a devoted wife and wise mother. Bless me with the right heart, to raise my children in Your instructions, following the example of Hannah. I ask you to never let my tendency for mercy interfere with the discipline of my children. Bless my house with your tangible Shalom, always. I ask these in the name of Jesus!
